Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) services are available at Japan’s Airports of Entry (AOE).
At certain non-CIQ airports, CIQ clearance may also be arranged upon special request, subject to prior approval by the relevant authorities.
In most Japanese airports, business jet passengers are processed together with commercial flight passengers in the main terminal. To minimize waiting time, it is recommended to schedule arrivals during non-peak hours.
At Tokyo’s airports, dedicated CIQ facilities for business aviation are available at both Haneda and Narita, offering private and expedited processing. Please note that this service must be arranged in advance and incurs additional costs.
